A structured, research-informed approach — not ad-hoc tutoring

New concepts are taught explicitly and carefully, step-by-step. Tutors explain ideas clearly, model worked examples, and verbalise their thinking so students know exactly how and why methods work — before being asked to attempt questions themselves.

Practice is carefully sequenced, not random. Students begin with guided examples, then progress to independent questions only when understanding is secure. Difficulty is increased gradually to build confidence without overwhelm.

Key ideas are revisited across lessons using retrieval practice and spaced revision. This strengthens long-term memory, improves recall under exam conditions, and prevents students from forgetting content after assessments.
